Paul addresses idol feasts the food sacrificed to idols. The church had become all consumed with their knowledge, but neglected one another in the process. Paul calls us all to understand that if our knowledge fails to produce love for one another, it may be the knowledge that "puffs up" rather than "builds up. Points to consider:
