We begin our study of Melchizedek, the mysterious figure who walks briefly across the stage of the Genesis narrative in its fourteenth chapter, by looking more closely at his name: first the king of Righteousness, then the king of Peace. 

This week's application challenge: Do something righteous to promote peace in your relationship with God. And... do something righteouse to promote peace with a fellow Christian.
