Toward 2025

As we collectively look forward to the new year, we will strive to build a community of vibrant families throughout Hampton Roads. We seek to build Healthy House Churches of Fully-Engaged, Well-Equipped Difference Makers. Our small groups, or House Churches provide the agility and flexibility and intimacy that these difficult times require. But to boost the health of our House Churches, we need more shepherds and more engagement by all disciples. We have some exciting plans to move us in that direction. Stay tuned. 

And so as we begin to build anew, let’s take direction from Jesus, our chief cornerstone, and from Paul, a wise builder:   

“By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.” — 1st Corinthians 3:10-11

Well-Equipped

We are all meant to be on a path toward greater and greater maturity as we become more like Jesus. We are going to get more focused on helping everyone grow. Col 1:28-29

Foundation

Our FOUNDATION TRAINING focuses on core convictions on core concepts of Christianity. They include God’s Love, Faith, Service, The Holy Spirit, The Bible, Prayer, The Church, Offering, Grace, Repentance, Evangelism, Baptism, Discipleship, Hope, and Fellowship

Flourish

We pray for all Christians to FLOURISH in their life in Christ. Equipping classes for such Flourishing includes: Spiritual Disciplines and Spiritual Formation, Spiritual Gift Assessment and Deployment, Stewardship with God’s Resources, Constructive Deconstruction of the Christian Walk, Holy Living in an Unholy World,

Fortify

We all build or FORTIFY the Body of Christ. Focused training to better FORTIFY our House Churches includes: Coaching in Spiritual Disciplines, Coaching in Gift Utilization.

Difference Makers

The Church is Jesus’ plan to heal, save and serve our cities. Let’s go make a difference! Matt 25:34-40
