Genesis 40
- Here's an interesting shorter reading today in the OT. Again Joseph makes it clear to the Cupbearer and the Baker that God alone can interpret dreams.
John 10:22-42
- Here's a Scripture that has promoted monergism/synergism debate over the centuries: "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand." This is often used with 6:39 "And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day." In Chapter 17, Jesus seems to indicate that these passages have been fulfilled, thus applying them to his earthly ministry.
